Bridge is played by 220 million people worldwide. It’s sociable, endlessly interesting, and genuinely good for the brain — and it takes far less time to get playing than most people think.

What happens at a taster?

Our free taster sessions are aimed at people who are completely new to bridge — they assume no knowledge of cards at all. You’ll sit down at a table, learn the shape of the game, and play your first hands the same day, with friendly help throughout.

Do I need to bring anyone?

No. Come alone or bring a friend — we’ll make up the tables either way. Most people arrive on their own.

What’s next after the taster?

If you enjoy it (most people do), the natural next step is the Beginners course — four weeks or a single weekend, with three months’ club membership included.
